Yogurt impact in reducing the stress and anxiety
Researchers studied on the zebra fish and found this species after ingestion of common bacteria found in yogurt and probiotics called Lactobacillus planetarium responded better to stressful conditions. Usually stressful fish spend more time at the bottom of the water tank, but Zebra fish that had consumed probiotics spent more time near the top of the water tank after exposure to stressors. According to Elizabeth Braida, who led the research team, "stress factors are imported from common environmental patterns such as temperature changes so this test can also be effective in humans". These results suggest that mentioned bacteria in intestine can be a good alternative for treatment. According to the researchers, the good bacteria in the gut can aid to digestion and keep the body's natural ecosystem functioning and may even help to weight loss. But the bad bacteria causing gastrointestinal inconvenience and may even be the diseases cause.
